Denver Trip

Headed to Denver today (took off early from work :) ).  Got to hit Penzy's http://www.penzeys.com/cgi-bin/penzeys/shophome.html

Love their stuff.  It make it so easy to cook even my husband can do it.

Then spent some time at GlassCraft http://www.glasscraftinc.com/  and of course bought glass. Never enough glass ;)

We then went to dinner with some of the glass folks from the club up in Denver.   Went to a Moroccan restaurant, had a good time and too much good food. http://www.mataamfez-denver.com/

 

Oh My!!

The real temp tonight is -2 F as of 9:30 PM.  I think we are getting snow tonight , but I'm hoping not much since we are having dinner in Denver tomorrow.

We finaly got through all the boxs.  The trash guys now hate us. LOL

thoughts on Boro thread...

Well a little over a year ago We (I ) started a boro thread on WetCanvas! http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?p=7415167#post7415167

It seems to have run its course.  With the economy and everyone selling tutorials it is about impossible to get people to donate tutorials. With a full-time job I don't have the time to chase people down.  Dawn and tried for a while but it was nuts.  We are also seeing fewer people posting for a variety of reasons.

sooooo I think I'm going to leave it alone and let it quietly die out and put my energy elsewhere. It had a good run and I met some great people. I will put more time in as a WC! Guide and back off on the glass area.

Well it is 5 degrees F or -15C with 20 MPH wind.  

Michelle, thanks for your comments.  We love the way the kitchen is turning out.  The views yesterday were incredible.  Hubby and I keep looking at each other and say "We live here!"

A jeep! Yea!
Well with another snow day hubby found me a used jeep  WooHooo! Nothing fancy but just what I needed.  My new job is going well and I'm finding my place in the group.  Well I need to go cook for a pot luck tomorrow.

Day 3 .....

  If I ever talk about moving again...someone slap me...please.

I finally was helping the movers and we packed until 8pm tonight.  Haven't heard anything from the trucking company ( have a message in)  I sure hope everyone shows.  We MUST be out of the house tomorrow so we can leave Friday morning and hopefully the new owner will be able to move in on Friday.  And pretty sure we are overweight on our shipment.

Tomorrow should be interesting...not quite sure how we are going to get everything done or even if we have a moving truck.  If the truck doesn't show our stuff will go to a local warehouse to be picked up.

We still haven't closed on this house in Texas.  An hour before closing the lender decided that the buyer's wife had to sign (org signature required).  One problem....she is in North Carolina.

One the house in Colorado the lender suddenly decided the needed a well test after saying they had everything needed for the last 4 days.

last Day

Last day of work here.  Going away party is this afternoon.  There moved the closing date for CO to Monday.  So Dear Hubby will have a really tight turn around to get back to pack out.  I will have all the critters with me.  Movers are doing door to door so we should have our stuff pretty fast.

Still in Texas but getting closer to Colorado

We finally have all the work done on the house and think we have someone who wants it.  (fingers crossed).  We have a house we REALLY like in CO.
